7 PARIS FASHION WEEK TRENDS TO WEAR NOW
From the catwalk colour to must-have street style boots, meet the seven spring/summer 2017 Paris Fashion Week trends to buy now…
1. Metallic Trousers
As far as we’re concerned, life is way too short to save your sparkly pieces for party season and it looks like Elie Saab agrees. The designer sent metallic trousers down his spring/summer 2017 catwalk, and you can channel the look from now right through to next season with our bronze metallic jeans. Guaranteed to make you smile every time you put them on.
2. Snake Print Boots
No autumn wardrobe is complete without a pair of easy to wear ankle boots. Take a break from classic black and give any look a fashion-forward edge with a snake print pair like this street styler. Perfect for pepping up muted separates, they make even more of a statement clashed with stripes. As well as these blue beauties, we’ve got a knockout neutral knee-high pair.
3. Catwalk ‘It’ Colour
What we’re calling ‘Ribena’, this vibrant shade of purple popped up on the catwalks at Balenciaga, Nina Ricci and more, meaning it’s set to be the colour of spring/summer 2017. Call us psychic, but we designed our cold-shoulder top in exactly the same grape hue for this season. The fine-knit fabric and cut out detail mean it’s perfect for wearing year-round. Brave a catwalk look and clash with pink, or try it with black trousers for a subtler look.
4. The Striped Top
Fans of the classic Breton stripe will love this autumnal update. Our chic high-neck jersey top features timeless monochrome stripes – as spotted on Fashion Editor Caroline Issa in Paris. Follow her lead and team with wide-leg trousers or try it with an A-line skirt and ankle boots.
5. Rust Cropped Flares
While Balenciaga and Nina Ricci went gaga for grape, Givenchy presented a collection packed with rich, retro rusty hues. Nail the trend a season ahead with our rust coloured culottes, which, by the way, happen to look amazing with our snakeskin knee-high boots. One easy outfit, two major trends ticked off.
6. Double Khaki
Seriously versatile, khaki might just be one of our favourite colours. There’s something about it that just gives any look that ‘cool without trying’ vibe – case in point stylist Anya Ziourova’s Paris Fashion Week outfit. Just grab our khaki two-part courts and split hem jumper, add your favourite jeans et voila.
7. Coloured Leopard
We’re just going to say it; we are Sosandar and we’re leopard print obsessed. To facilitate our addiction, we’ve put a twist on the classic with a sugar pink version. If you needed anymore inspiration to shake up your animal print, look no further than Paris Fashion Week show-goer Alina Chu’s coloured spots, then add our shell top to your basket.
