INTRODUCING THE DRESSES YOU'LL WEAR EVERYWHERE
From LBD’s to sweater dresses and shift dresses, our dress collection has every occasion covered…
1.THE 'IT' DETAIL LBD
The easiest way to give your look an on-trend update this autumn? Metal ring details. We like to consider ourselves trend-setters, not followers, and after adding silver hoop details to our dresses, boots and skirts, we’ve seen shedloads of our favourite street style muses sporting them too. Notice how it instantly makes a classic LBD feel instantly more modern? It’s also pretty nifty at cinching in your waist. Trend-ticking and figure flattering – what more could you want. Oh, and it’ll look as good for an important meeting as it will dressed up for dinner.
2. THE STATEMENT SWEATER DRESS
Meet autumn’s hottest frock shape – cosy, comfy and super cool. They’re what we reach for when we crave comfy, but still want to look like we’ve made an effort, and we’re in good company - catwalk heavyweights 3.1 Phillip Lim, Eduon Choi and Hermes all showed sweater dresses on their AW16 catwalks. Our bold colour block style is made from a fine knit to create a sexy silhouette, while the V-shaped chevrons elongate the body. All you need to complete the look is our black ankle boots.
3. THE SEXY SNAKE WRAP
Iconic designer Diane Von Furstenberg put the wrap dress style on the fashion map back in 1974, and it’s been a firm favourite ever since. Fluid – but not flimsy - and just the right amount of figure hugging, we’ve brought the flattering classic bang up to date in statement snake print (another huge autumn trend) The wrap dress strikes the perfect balance of smart and sexy, meaning you can take it from day to night with just a switch of accessories. Our tip? If you need a little extra neckline coverage, slip a silky cami underneath.
3.THE 70s VELVET SHOWSTOPPER
From the street style stars to the catwalks and our autumn collection, it’s safe to say velvet is back with a bang. No longer the fabric of evening-only clothes, this is velvet 2.0; designed to be worn day or night. While our dress is unashamedly sumptuous, the subtle nods to the 70s trend – blouson sleeves, a ring-belted middle – make it the perfect option for days that call for something a little special. Slipping our fine knit polo neck underneath is an easy way to tone the luxe factor down a notch. If you’re feeling bold, wear it with our snake print knee-highs or double up on texture with our red velvet ankle boots (coming soon).
3.THE LITTLE RED DRESS
As far as we’re concerned, dresses don’t have to be bodycon, backless or bum skimming to be sexy. That’s where the ‘wiggle’ comes in. Basically a dress that’s fitted around the hips but looser at the top (so if you are a busty it gives a great shape) it’s also slightly narrower at the hem, causing you to wiggle a bit as you walk. Don’t worry, it’s not going to turn you into Jessica Rabbit (though she was pretty sexy). Cuffed short sleeves and a modest hemline make it a 24/7 wardrobe hero, while a cross strap waist detail adds interest to the simple shape. We’re coining this one the LRD - just as versatile as it’s black counterpart; wear to the office then out to dinner.
6. THE SIMPLY CHIC SHIFT
They say if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, but sometimes a little tweak here and there can make a wardrobe classic even more covetable. Case in point our take on the shift, updated with on-trend cut-outs to the side of the V-neck and pin-tucked pleated sleeves. See? Subtle, but enough to make a statement. Rich autumnal green makes for an alternative to the usual go-to black, and will work day or night. Try layering it over black, grey or navy roll necks on colder days.
