CELEB-APPROVED LUXURY SUEDE & LEATHER

Made to be worn forever, it’s no wonder celeb wardrobes are full of luxe suede and leather. From classic leather biker jackets to suede skirts, our premium pieces are the ultimate investment.

SUMPTUOUS SUEDE & LEATHER

If there’s one thing we fully advocate spending a little more money than usual on, it’s great quality suede and leather. A long-time love for these luxe fabrics meant that we made it our mission to bring you the ultimate edit of beautifully crafted suede and leather pieces, without the often eye-watering price tags. From the iconic leather biker jacket to leather skirts, suede skirts and a suedette offering that’s so good you’ll be convinced it’s the real thing, here’s why our premium designs are well worth the splurge.

CELEB CULT BUY

We’re not alone in our devotion to butter-soft leather and suede. The sumptuous fabric has long been a celebrity favourite - leather biker jackets and leather pencil skirts are staples in the wardrobes of the most fashionable women.

From Debbie Harry in the ‘80s to Alexa Chung and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley now, no style icon worth their salt would be without a leather biker jacket in their outerwear arsenal, while A-listers and fashion insiders alike reach for a leather pencil skirt when they want a look that strikes the perfect balance of chic and sexy – ex-French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld has pretty much made a leather pencil skirt and silky blouse her uniform, and Alexa’s partial to this leather piece too.

This spring, suede is having a major moment – we’re blaming it on fashion’s on-going love affair with all things ‘70s.

THE ULTIMATE INVESTMENT

We know the term ‘wardrobe investment’ is bandied about a lot in fashion land – ditto ‘wardrobe classic’ - but if anything, truly ticks both of those boxes, it’s a plush leather or suede piece. We find the trusty old cost-per-wear equation comes in handy when you’re thinking about splurging on leather and suede, be it a biker jacket, skirt or dress.

The beauty of leather and suede lies in their timeless appeal - no matter what the seasonal trends dictate, classic pieces crafted from these fabrics will always be in style. We’d struggle to think of anything a leather biker jacket doesn’t look good with – they’re even acceptable wedding outfit cover up’s these days – while suede and leather skirts make the ultimate 24/7 separate that will take you from work to weekend.

Alongside timeless hues of burgundy, tan and black, this season we’ve reworked the leather biker jacket in on-trend khaki and added a cool collarless style, while spring-ready cropped trousers get a luxe upgrade in soft tan suede.

PREMIUM QUALITY

Now for the science part. We use aniline lamb’s leather to create our jackets and skirts, which, in non-technical speak, means the highest quality, most natural looking leather. Basically, it’s the caviar of the leather world, and what makes our leather pieces so buttery-soft.

This focus on quality means that our leather and suede pieces will only get better with age – the best leather gets softer over time, but still retains its shape (though it does tend to stretch after a while, so we’d always advise buying a slightly snugger size if you’re after a close fit) With our leather jackets coming in at £249 (that’s around £100 less than high street designs of the same quality FYI) and leather and suede skirts not topping the £149 mark, we like to think we’re giving you a lot of leather bang for your buck.

SUPER LUXE SUEDETTE

For a luxurious fabric fix that’s a little easier on the purse strings, it’s all about suedette. Super-soft (and therefore seriously comfortable) our suedette pieces have been cleverly designed to look just like the real thing.

The tan waterfall trench coat will complete any spring look and the khaki top will give your trusty jeans a new season lift, while our khaki fit & flare and tan shift dresses make the perfect day-to-night outfit in one. Suedette can often err on the flimsy side, but we’ve designed ours to be slightly heavier so that each piece hangs beautifully. We’d say it’s officially time to add a suede or leather wonder to your wardrobe.
