We are Sosandar. Based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, we’re one of the UK’s fastest growing online fashion brands for chic and stylish women; worn by celebs and influencers galore. We have an amazing opportunity for someone equally as amazing to join our growing team as a Trainee Merchandiser. 

• The trainee supports the Assistant Merchandisers to manage external partner’s accounts. Assisting with product set-up, managing deliveries and tracking newness online. They report into the Senior Merchandiser.
• Completing new product set-up by using partner-specific templates and working to their trigger dates. Collecting product information from all internal teams and achieving set deadlines given to them. Working closely with eCommerce team to manage set-up information and images needed to complete all external product set ups.
• Creating and uploading a pick list for replenishment lines, in addition to planned new-in styles.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key account holders to ensure smooth running of each partner.
• Communication with key teams at Sosandar enabling them to maintain and update critical paths, monitoring delays, cancellations and identifying any other possible issues which could lead to disappointment of partners and summarising to their merchandiser or direct to the partner.
• Pulling warehouse and intake reports to feed into the critical path.
• Monitoring deliveries into partners assuring we are meeting the partners criteria and the life cycle of a product is seen through from start- finish.
  • Ensuring options are live and visible on their website.
  • Updating documentation to track when styles go live and how visible they are to customers.
  • Leading to the understanding and analysis of how this is affecting sales and performance.
• Analysing best and worst sellers, by highlighting similarities and differences between Sosandar and external partners sales as well as looking at how that looks different to the previous year, and then providing feedback to merchandiser or partner.
• Identifying styles needing replenishment based on weeks cover, seasonality, and bestsellers.
• Organising the collection of RTVs once these have been signed off by the merchandiser to ensure they are returned to us within the time frame the partners give.
• Understanding what their intake targets are for each partner and working with the Assistants and the warehouse to hit them.
• Using Excel to pull ad hoc reports to help the assistants and merchandiser understand partner performance quickly.
• Participating in trade calls, in-person visits, and assisting with email queries by understanding trade reports and KPI’s Sosandar is measured on to support assistant merchandisers as well as driving own career progression.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm, reactiveness, with a positive and professional attitude.
