We are Sosandar. Based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, we’re one of the UK’s fastest growing online fashion brands for chic and stylish women; worn by celebs and influencers galore. We have an amazing opportunity for someone equally as amazing to join our growing team as Retail Operations Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop scalable processes and systems for all store operations as the business grows.
  • Act as a Systems Super user for the retail teams to support ongoing improvements and innovation focusing on delivering an exemplary customer experience and reducing inefficiency and cost.
  • Co-ordinate the Retail calendar, project managing new initiatives through to final delivery.
  • Point of contact and lead on all new store / concession openings.
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with Key Head office stakeholders.
  • Manage day to day store costs in line with budgets with accountability for the stores P&L.
  • Negotiate contracts to get the best deal possible from suppliers and manage existing relationships to ensure service levels are maintained.
  • Coordinate Store audit and stock take schedules and manage reconciliations across the estate, taking action to minimise stock loss.
  • Support the Head of Retail in the preparation of store budgets, and provide payroll data feedback.
  • Keep Store teams up to date on key business updates.
  • Drive key performance indicators with the Area Managers so we deliver against financial and customer experience targets.
  • Constantly review Store performance against targets, acting when they are not meeting goals and implementing corrective action where necessary.
  • Compile new procedures and policies as required, updating existing policies and procedures on a cyclical basis.
  • Review and update existing store documents and manuals.
  • Deputise for the Head of Retail in their absence.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Demonstrable track record of having managed in a retail environment at store level or in a retail operations role.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to identify potential risks and opportunities as businesses grow and plan accordingly.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to connect with people at all levels and all areas of a business.
  • A proven track record of playing a key role in high performance team.
  • A proactive attitude
  • Ability to travel to stores across the UK with occasional overnight stays.
